Somerset Barns

These three fantastic oak beamed cottages have been recently converted from stone courtyard barns. They are equipped with modern facilities throughout whilst keeping with their traditional charm. They sleep 16 people in total.

The cottages are located on the edge of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. An Edwardian hotel bar and restaurant is a stone’s throw away, and the nearest local pub is two miles away. Other local pubs, shops and restaurants are three miles away. The city of Wells is a 35 minute drive away, Bristol 30 minutes and Bath 50 minutes. Please bear in mind the distance to Bath as you may prefer your night out (if you have one) in Bristol as its closer.

Each cottage has full central heating throughout. The kitchens are fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob and microwave. The lounge/dining areas have leather suites, wide screen TV with FreeSat, Midi HiFi, DVD, sound system, Playstation 2 and Wifi.

Cottage 1 sleeps six people in three bedrooms consisting of one double bed, two single beds and two bunk beds (please note the bunk beds comfortably sleep people 5”5 or under). Cottage 2 sleeps four people in two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds. Cottage 3 sleeps six people and has two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds, and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The bathrooms have a "P" bath/shower, shaver point, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail.

All bedrooms have an alarm/I-Pod dock. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Each cottage has a dining table with the same number of seats as beds in the cottage. However more dining space can be created in Cottage 1 to seat a total of 16 people should you be staying in separate cottages and want to eat together.

Directly outside the properties is a large patio area equipped with individual outdoor furniture. The large, communal and enclosed gardens are located across the courtyard.

Each cottage has a BBQ. Cottage 3 has a private patio to the rear where you can put tables together which is excellent for BBQs and party gathering.
