The manor house is near Swarkestone located within the National Forest and is in walking distance of several pubs and restaurants. It is only 30 minutes drive from Nottingham if you would like a night out in the city.
It has been sympathetically restored retaining a wealth of interesting features including fine old oak beams, half-timbered walls, heavy oak doors and inglenook fireplaces.
Ground floor
This house has a magnificent beamed dining room and large sitting room with inglenook fireplaces. The kitchen has solid wood work-tops, AGA, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a ground floor twin bedroom.
First Floor
There are three bedrooms on this floor. One large room with double bed & extra single, one double with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom. There is a bathroom with toilet and basin and a shower over the bath.
Second Floor
There are two further bedrooms, a double and a twin room. There is an extra pull out single bed which can be moved to any room.
Facilities include oil central heating, log fire in the main sitting room, and an AGA in the kitchen. All bed linen is provided. There is a TV, DVD and stereo music centre with CD player.
The enclosed garden, with its lawns and patio has garden furniture and there is parking for 5 cars within an electric security gate.
