The largest barn sleeps 12 and has huge rooms with beamed roofs and exposed brickwork. There is a large open plan kitchen and dining, a stunning sitting room with an open fire and amazing views down the valley.
Most of the barn is on ground level; there are stairs up to the sleeping platform and three steps up to the sitting room but otherwise it is all on ground level.
The kitchen is brand new hand crafted maple wood. There is a dresser, an island, an induction hob, two ovens, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher and slate worktops. It is very large and open plan. The dining area can comfortably seat up to 16/18 people.
The sitting room has under floor heating and a large log burning open fire. It has a vast array of books and comfy sofas and reading areas. It also has a mezzanine above it which is used as bedroom space.
There is a lovely, spacious family bathroom and a separate shower room. As well as the mezzanine with its double bed (above sitting room with no door), there are three lovely bedrooms (one twin and 2 double) and two attic bedrooms each with Velux windows and two single beds.
It has a large private garden all around the back of the property with a terrace overlooking the valley. It also shares a courtyard at the front. There are French doors that open from the sitting room and another pair that open on to the terrace.
The smaller barn sleeps 6 and adjoins the main barn. The sitting room is on the first floor and has a lovely view over the field. It has an electric stove and a comfy sofa. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, a bathroom and the kitchen. The stairs take you up to the upper sitting room, another bathroom and a double bedroom. The small barn is very pretty and newly refurbished. There is a brand new Shaker style kitchen, with an induction and electric hob, one cooker, a dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, fridge / freezer and lots of cupboard space.
Linen is provided but please take your own towels. There is a TV, DVD s and Free View in both barns. There is a ‘locals type’ country pub 2 minutes walk and a nicer gastro pub 3 miles away.
