Acacia Cottages » Somerset Stone Barns

These 17th century stone cottages near the Mendip Hills stand in 30 acres and are surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are 8 cottages around the courtyard sleeping up to 40 people in total.

They are only 25 minutes minutes from Bath. The about a mile away.

The cottages have recently been refurbished and are modern but in keeping. They are 3 star standard and have been nicely decorated in neutral colours. They have exposed oak beams, laminate floors or light colour carpets, TV’s and videos, and pretty bed linen. Most look out onto the Mendip Hills or the courtyard.

The kitchens are fully equipped and have fan ovens and electric hob, microwave and fridge. Some have dishwashers.

The bedrooms are a mix of twin and double beds and most cottages have at least one en-suite room. They also have a separate bathroom with bath and/or shower.

The outdoor, heated swimming pool is usually open from mid May to September (weather permitting). Set in a south facing courtyard, the area has tables and chairs and can be used for sunbathing.

Overlooking the pool is a small gym and at the top of the orchard is a games room with a pool table. Also available is croquet, and a range of board games.
