Shop 'til you Drop
Getting away with friends for a spot of retail therapy can be excellent fun. Whether it's the run up to Christmas or just an excuse for some old friends to get together, a spot of shopping can be the perfect activity. Acacia Cottages has rural retreats surrounding a number of different retail hotspots where you and your friends can be provided with a personal shopper (for that touch of decadence), or wander you way round some good quality outlet stores.
Our Shop 'til you Drop packages are designed to bring you and your friends together whether bustling through busy streets with a clear idea of where your going, or sitting in an out of the way café enjoying tea and sticky buns (or champagne and canapés!). The sort of shopping experiences we provide might include:
- Visits to the best city centre shopping hot spots
- Trips to out of town outlet shops and villages
- Christmas market visits
- Personal shopper (smaller groups only for that undivided attention)
A typical Acacia Shop 'til you drop weekend package would be:
Friday afternoon/evening - arrive at one of our cottages and unload. Your dinner will be delivered to your cottage, then depending on the season, either move to the garden for a few drinks, or in the winter, set-up around an open fire (in the cottage or at the local pub) and chat 'til the wee small hours.
Saturday day - wake up, cook breakfast then head out for a day on the plastic. This would normally include transfers to a prime shopping area and lunch in a local brasserie (in Bath you may first visit the Mulberry factory shop which is out of town, then return to the city centre for lunch and some further retail therapy including shops such as Mee, Jolly's and many more).
Saturday evening - once you're back at the cottage, rest your weary feet for an hour or so then get freshened up and head out for dinner to a top local restaurant or gastro pub (transfers can be included).
Sunday morning - get-up, have breakfast, go for a walk, read the papers, maybe go for lunch, then all head home.
We tailor each break to your requirements but availability is limited so check your destination and call us to check the dates. Please remember that you are not limited to Shop 'til you Drop activities, you can combine these with any activities from our other packages (Relaxation, Gastro Gourmet, Thrill Seeking, Lord & Lady of the Manor, or Tee Off).
