Oxford is a cosmopolitan and compact town situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, and is bordered by the Thames on the east and the Cherwell to the west. The eastern side of the Cotswolds, home to Blenheim Palace, provides stunning backdrops for a range of country pursuits. Whilst on the water, you can go for a cruise, or hire traditional punts, and stop for lunch on the riverbank. In the evening Oxford comes to life with some vibrant nightlife.
