We ask you to have 2 or more activities in your celebratory weekend package as, from experience, this makes the weekend feel special. You can include any activities from the least expensive such as canapes and return transfers for a night out, to more costly activities such as a half-day experience. If you have activity ideas which you can’t see on our website, contact us using our online form or call 0800 234 6039 and we can see what we can do.
You can book any of our hen party properties for a minimum of 2 or more nights stay. Let us know how many nights you’re interested in and we can discuss the options available.
We have some very large cottages and hen party complexes to accommodate larger groups which are displayed on our website. We also have ones in the pipeline, so contact us using our online form or call 0800 234 6039 and we can let you know what’s available.
We are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
To secure your weekend you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit; this differs for each property. Please contact us or call 0800 234 6039 so we can confirm exactly what the deposit for your particular cottage is. For further information, see ‘6 easy steps to booking’.
An average deposit is around £35 per person subject to a minimum of £350. However, with some cottages and packages the deposit payable may be higher and we will inform you of this at the time.
Once you have paid your deposit a booking confirmation will be sent out by email immediately. Once you have paid your balance you will receive your detailed holiday plan.
You can pay by credit or debit card over the phone or by bank transfer or cheque. All of this will be confirmed when you phone to book on 0800 234 6039.
Normally twelve weeks before your holiday starts but as cottages can vary, this will be confirmed before you book.
We are bonded by International Passenger Protection (IPP). In the unlikely event of our business failing before you’ve gone on holiday you can claim a full refund from IPP. This is not Travel Insurance.
Acacia Cottages strongly recommends that you get Travel Insurance. If you do have it or when you are choosing it please also check that everything on your holiday plan is covered, as not many policies will, as standard, provide cover for horse riding or other “high risk” activities. Travel insurance can cover you for emergencies but it may also cover you for any cancellation fees paid to Acacia should you have to cancel.
At our discretion, and with reference to any costs that we have already incurred, changes may be made although we reserve the right to charge a £20 admin fee for each change. If you decide to cancel your booking, for whatever reason, you will be subject to our standard Cancellation charges details of which can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
