Acacia Cottages in the Peak District, Derbyshire & Nottingham
The Peak District in Derbyshire was Britain’s first national park. In 1951 the decision was made to keep this area’s breathtaking landscapes free from the development going on elsewhere in rural Britain. Located in the centre of England, 45 minutes from Manchester and Birmingham and just over two hours from London, this unspoilt landscape is accessible to most.
There are numerous opportunities to enjoy the outdoors however the areas bustling market towns and cosy country inns present excellent reasons to stay inside and enjoy Derbyshire hospitality at its best – and just a few miles from the south-east corner of Derbyshire lies the city of Nottingham should more lively night time activities be required!
In the late 18th century Jane Austen fell in love with Derbyshire and the Peaks, we hope you will too and though we cannot promise a chance meeting with a dripping wet Mr Darcy, we can provide a top break (for everyone) in England’s most beautiful national park.
We provide bespoke breaks in the Peak District, Derbyshire and Nottingham at the following cottages:
