The first holiday we organised was in March 2007 and to date (30 Sep 11) we've organised another 1,348 weekends for groups of friends and families - 16,112 people have been on one of our holidays and we have many more booked to travel as far ahead as August 2012. Over half our new bookings are from past customers or from people to whom we have been recommended. For those customers who have no prior knowledge of Acacia, we hope the below reviews will be of use.
What our customers say...We had a really good time thank you!!! Everything went well; we really enjoyed the clay pigeon shooting, the transfers to Bristol were good, we were running 10-15 mins late and he had no problem with this which was great. One of the girls fell ill and the pub next door were very accommodating by sending food to our cottage and asking if she needed a doctor. But thank you for everything and being so patient with all our requests/changes.

Fab thank you. It was fabulous. Just to say we went to Beaujolais for lunch on the Saturday. The guy David that runs it was great and fitted us all in even though we were early for our booking. Service was very good as well as the food. And on the Sunday we went to the Holcombe Inn and all had roasts which were of a very high standard and massive portion sizes. So would definitely recommend both to others.

The weekend was brilliant! The house was absolutely perfect for what we wanted it for. There was loads of communal space, including the dining space. Everyone was very impressed with the set up of the house. We were met outside the house and somebody went through the facilities with us. We were left with ample contact details if any problems had arisen but thank fully this was not the case. All in all I have been very impressed with Acacia cottages. Many people have mentioned that they may use you guys in the future for big family occasions. I think this new house in Stroud is a great addition to your portfolio and would recommend it to others who are planning a big group event. Thanks for all of your help.

The weekend was amazing - my friend had the best hen weekend. The cottage is amazing, with lots of space and had everything that we needed - and more!! The beauty treatments were brilliant and Tosh the cocktail waiter was a good sport who by the end took 12 girls heckling him after the first few cocktails had gone down!! Everything went really smoothly, the beauty therapists were lovely and everyone came out looking euphoric after their treatments - it was a first for many of them and I think they're hooked now. The accommodation was lovely and very comfortable - just could have done with a few more mirrors when you have 6 girls all trying to get ready at the same time! We had a wonderful weekend. The spa being so close to the house was great. I don't think any of us realised it was going to that easy to get to. The people at the farm were all really lovely, especially as they put up with a rowdy load of girls for the weekend. The food at the Bear and Swan pub was excellent too. I just wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you for such a great hen weekend! The Farmhouse was absolutely fantastic and Dot and Dave honestly couldn't have been more accommodating. The dance class held in Bath taken by Kim was a real winner, despite a few moans and groans in the morning that we had 2hrs of dancing ahead of us, everyone really got involved and thanks to Kim's video skills we now have a hilarious reminder of our moves!! The food the caterers served on Saturday night was delicious and it was great for us not to have to worry about anything that evening. We had a gorgeous butler who did a great job and was a fantastic sport!! All in all Lucy had a fabulous hen weekend. We had a lot of fun – the spa was fantastic and the dance instructor we used on Sunday was superb which given the lack of ability in our group and the fact we had a disabled and heavily pregnant woman in our group – was some doing! The weekend went really well despite the weather trying its hardest to scupper plans! The cottage was lovely and the little cottage up the road for the 3 extra worked really well. I was a bit concerned when I arrived about how close the landlady lived and whether she would be annoyed by a load of noisy hens but she was very relaxed and welcoming (she said she had hen parties nearly every weekend!). We initially cancelled the punting on the Saturday because the rain was torrential and went to the pub but by 2pm the sun was shining and the company were really accommodating and let us take out rowing boats instead. We had an absolutely amazing time at the cottage, it all went really smoothly. Cocktails were great fun and the taxi transfers were excellent with a lovely driver Colin.
