I just wanted to take the time to email you after our stay at the weekend.

We all had such an amazing time and the property was stunning. It was so clean and was such a lovely touch that we were given Prosecco and chocolates on our arrival. Please send our huge thanks to the owners for a fantastic weekend away and also for allowing us to check in early which was much appreciated.

The beauty therapists did a fantastic job making us all feel relaxed and the treatments were wonderful. The caterers were also amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal which was served promptly and was extremely tasty. They were so kind and patient with us at the end when we asked them to take a group picture of us all.

I hope you can pass on our thanks to both the therapists and caterers.

Lastly I would like to say a huge thank you to you for helping to make the whole booking an easy process. You have always responded promptly to any questions we have had and have made the whole thing really easy and stress free.

The hen and rest of the party were so pleased with the weekend and we all said how much we would recommend Acacia Cottages and the property we stayed in.

I wanted to send a message today to thank you so much for all of your help in arranging the most perfect hen party for my sister, Kim. She is over the moon and couldn’t be happier with the weekend we just had at the beautiful Countryside View Cottage with Hot Tub.

From the moment I booked the cottage with Acacia it was easy, stress free and a pleasure working with you. Every question I had was answered within a day with all the information I had requested.

There is always the worry in the back of your mind when arranging something that one or two things will not go quite right – the key won’t be there or the chef wouldn’t turn up, but I genuinely had no worries at all and I knew everything had been so professionally covered by you.

The caterers that came on Saturday evening were FANTASTIC! The food was to die for and the service from them just as good. We certainly didn’t go hungry and everyone commented on how wonderful everything looked and tasted. If you have their details and you are allowed to pass them on I would love to personally thank them.

The Cottage itself is divine, so beautifully kept and presented. We even had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners as we arrived slightly early and he was more than pleased to let us in and show us around. The chocolate cake they left in the fridge was a beautiful touch. The cottage really is in the most picturesque setting, we were so gutted to be leaving on Sunday and all commented on how we wanted to stay one more night!

The property was perfect and couldn’t fault it in anyway. It’s location is ideal even if it is hard to find in the dark, the poor farmer at the top of the hill must have wondered what was going on when my friends descended on him lost and confused ( apparently that was before any alcohol).

The beauticians were great, really easy going and cheerful, they even managed to get Stacy to have her massage as she has a very weird phobia of being touched by strangers.

The chef and her assistant were excellent they blew us all away with the absolutely gorgeous food they served us and they cleaned up all the plates and any mess, amazing!

I will be recommending Acacia as a company to book through.

Just to say the weekend was an excellent hit – the bride to be had an amazing time!!

Absolutely fantastic package – the barn was beautiful…. The chef Alison was fantastic – beautiful food and she was really relaxed and made the evening so much easier. Dance lesson spot on and the teacher was really game for a laugh and was super friendly and just brilliant. Like wise with the barman Mike for the cocktail lesson, he coped really well with 16 rowdy ladies!!

All in all, one great weekend had by all – thank you so so much for everything!

Feedback for the accommodation would be that the owners were great – very accommodating, great location (lots of fabulous scenery), lovely clean modern lodges and would definitely recommend.

The catering company used were also amazing it’s so difficult to cater for that many people and there was not one single complaint and lots of clean plates the food was absolutely stunning!

And feedback for you guys would be that, I have already and will continue recommending you to friends & family who would like a group getaway organised – so professional and a pleasure to deal with unlike other companies. Your customer service and organisational skills are top notch, nothing was too much trouble and changes to our booking were accommodated!

We had an amazing time, the accommodation was just perfect for what we needed, great facilities and set up. The caterer was absolutely fantastic, everyone loved their meal. We had a really great time at the cottage. It was nice that we had two adjoining cottages as we were able to gather in the bigger cottage and we also had space for people who wanted to get away from the party and go to bed early. The cottages were well equipped although it would have been good to have more large bin bags to dispose of rubbish at the end of the weekend.

The supper on Friday was delicious – the lasagne was very well received! Our transfers were also on time.

The hen was very happy and I would recommend Acacia cottages to anyone looking for a hen weekend away.

Firstly the service from Acacia was fantastic, always responsive, and tired your best to accommodate our needs. The chosen venue was perfect, the owners were so helpful and hospitable, they even baked us a lovely chocolate cake. The barn had all the facilities we needed for the whole weekend, it was beautifully decorated, with opulent furnishings. The location was good, quiet and out of the busy city which is just what we wanted.

The massages and cocktail making all went down well with everyone. The bar man was such a good host and joined in some of our games. The Hen had a fantastic time, a weekend to remember 🙂

Overall we are definitely satisfied with what we received in our booking.

It has to be saying something for the overall quality of the accommodation and catering etc when the only criticism I heard was in respect of the spider webs on the higher beams!!

Lol! The barns were ideal for our party of 13.

We decorated the dining area with a Christmas tree and hung lights from the beams. It was simply gorgeous for our Saturday meal.

The open fire with plenty of logs was very welcome.

I just wanted to get in touch to say thank you for organising such a great weekend for my sister’s hen do. The cottage was amazing and the activities were fantastic! It all went very smoothly and the hen had a brilliant weekend!

Our feedback on everything is generally really positive. The dance class was really fun and the teacher was very good. Makeup/hair was also a great activity. The taxi was on time and the driver very friendly. The photo shoot was also good although the set up was a little different to what we expected with more reportage/action shots of us chatting etc rather than staged poses.

The cottage itself is really great and perfect for a hen do with its numerous bedrooms and single beds. The downstairs is also very practical with the large eat in kitchen and separate utility room. Lots of people in our party commented on how great the cottage was.

In terms of feedback, I couldn’t praise you guys, the booking process or the accommodation enough. And everyone commented on the value for money, too, we all thought it was incredibly well-priced for what was included. Obviously the fabulous weather played a big part, but I think in those surroundings if it had chucked it down it wouldn’t have mattered: that place really was a home from home and if it hadn’t been so sunny I know that we would have enjoyed ourselves just as much inside. As it turned out we couldn’t be bothered to do very much at all because it was so hot, but all the better because we all have full-time jobs or kids (or both!) and that weekend was just what we all needed.

You guys at the company have all been fab and very accommodating, and it was a nice touch to get a reassuring phone call from the taxi company, a friendly text from the owner, and then a visit from the kind neighbour to check that we were ok and had everything we needed. The therapists were lovely and also very accommodating and everyone absolutely loved the fact that they came to the cottage instead of us having to get ready and traipse out somewhere! Although one tiny thing- I think those that wanted a pedicure were slightly disappointed that it was just a quick foot massage and varnish- perhaps it needs to be described as an express pedi…? I know the treatments are only 30mins long so really it should speak for itself but I think perhaps people were expecting a little more from it. That was literally the only negative thing I heard anyone say all weekend, though.

I laughed when we got the restaurant bill: it came to £34 pounds to split between all of us!! They honoured your request and took off the money we had paid for the extra meals, so in the end the bill was ridiculously tiny, even after we had all ordered bottles of wine! It was a shame the others couldn’t make it but their loss was definitely our gain!

The fridge wasn’t an issue at all and in fact the new one was delivered on the Saturday so if needed we could have used it. As it turned out the little ones in both cottages were more than enough.

I would firmly recommend this type of weekend for anyone planning a hen-do: it was easy, well-organised and fantastic value. I lost count of how many times we all said that we would organise something similar next year (who needs an excuse for a girly weekend??) and at that kind of value and service I think you’ll definitely be hearing from us again! Everyone was asking who the company was so I know everyone was just as impressed as me, and I will make sure to pass on your company’s details to anyone that I hear is organising a hen-do or weekend away.

Ps. Somerset is my new favourite county. Not only is it beautiful, but everyone is so friendly and laid back! We missed the Tesco delivery and he simply said no problem- he’d come back within half an hour- which he promptly did. That would not have happened up here!!

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for organising our Fantastic Weekend in Derbyshire, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it…

The house was great, very clean, had everything we needed, layout was perfect. The Cocktail mixing was perfect, Stuart the Bar Tender was lovely, a really nice guy and of course the cocktails where spot on. The Evening meal was fantastic, the chef & partner were two lovely ladies, food was superb and when they left you wouldn’t have known they had been.

We all had a fabulous weekend. Everything was perfect and to top it off we had amazing weather!!!

The property was gorgeous, transfers ran on time with very pleasant staff, the spa was relaxing and the chef was really nice. He made a fabulous meal. I think the meal at the property was the best part of the weekend. We couldn’t have faulted any of it. The ‘hen’ had a lovely time and all the other girls kept saying what an incredible weekend it was.

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you for all your help in arranging Nikki’s Hen Do. We had an absolutely fantastic time and couldn’t have asked for better weather! The cottages were stunning and so homely, and the views were incredible- none of us wanted to leave!

Alison, who delivered the food on Friday night was delightful. She was so friendly, kind and helpful- she really couldn’t do enough for us and the food was delicious! I can’t recommend her highly enough.

The horse riding on Saturday was great fun and both of the ladies at the centre were brilliant and so supportive to the more nervous riders!

Overall, it was a perfect weekend 🙂

We had a lovely lovely weekend – just the perfect setting for all of us, such a cute little cottage and perfectly set up for a big group of girls on a (relatively civilized) hen weekend!  The spa facilities were fantastic too, and Britta was very efficient in showing us around and how everything worked.  We were also very impressed with the evening meal on the Saturday – the food was wonderful, and the ladies cooking/serving it were really nice and super-efficient. It was a great success from start to finish with all the attendees, and I will certainly recommend to anyone planning something similar in future (and would go again myself, if I am organising another big group weekend).

Good morning!!

Just wanted to say what a truly amazing time our party had over the weekend!

We arrived around 4pm on Friday & instantly felt so content & at home in such beautiful surroundings that we’d actually forgotten what we’d had planned that evening.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our spa treatments & couldn’t fault the professionalism of our therapists.

Nick, our minibus driver on Saturday was lovely. He gave us quite the tour on our way into Bath & explained the local history & the who’s who of the area.

We decided to stay in on the Saturday evening as we’d each taken so many bottles of wine and loved our home from home so much, we wanted to make the most of it.

Caesar from The Bartender was amazing & a huge credit to the company he represents. He was fun, enthusiastic, informative & happy to join in our playful manner.

We were so reluctant to leave the farmhouse but cannot wait to book our next getaway with Acacia Cottages.

I hope that some of this has been useful & I genuinely cannot wait to book with Acacia again.

We had an absolutely amazing time, the accommodation was so beautiful and huge- everyone was gobsmacked by it- Dot was so welcoming and helpful. No one wanted to leave!!

The cocktail guy was fantastic- nicknamed Mr Man by the group! He was so funny, entertaining and got everyone involved. Again everyone loved this – originally I thought he would be really tight with the amount of alcohol we could use but he was so accommodating and even left us a pitcher of remaining alcohol! Loved him!

It’s a Knock Out was brilliant, the weather helped, everyone laughed so much – lots of leg crossing to control our bladders due to uncontrollable laughter!

The dinner Saturday night was incredible – everyone was amazed at the standard of food, it was like being at a restaurant. We got some tips of recipes!! Again very accommodating – ESP as they cleared the kitchen afterwards and prepared the dinner table which we weren’t expecting!

All in all the girls feedback was that it was the best hen they had been on, and that was down to you-so thank you so much for organising this! We got some lovely pictures of the experience too, so great memories!!

Thanks so much, I will be recommending to as many people as possible! I have another sister so in a couple of years I’ll probably be back – so you’ll have catered for all three of our hen do’s!!!
