The first holiday we organised was in March 2007 and to date (11 Dec 12) we've organised another 1,872 weekends for groups of friends and families - 23,014 people have been on one of our holidays and we have many more booked to travel as far ahead as Spring 2014 ! Over half our new bookings are from past customers or from people to whom we have been recommended. For those customers who have no prior knowledge of Acacia, we hope the below reviews will be of use.
What our customers say...I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you at Acacia for helping me to provide such a fantastic send off for my sister's hen party. Somerset Stone Barn was beautiful accommodation full of all the amenities we needed and very very comfortable and we couldn't believe how lucky we were. Please can you pass on our gratitude for allowing us to stay in the wonderful cottages. Also, please can you pass on a message to Butlers in the Buff regarding Paul 'the Butler' I just wanted to say a big thank you to him for making it a weekend we will all truly remember, he was absolutely brilliant and made us all feel very at ease (I was a little nervous as I didn't know what to expect) and he was an amazing sport. We had many of the girls swooning over him for the remainder of the weekend. The transfer company was fantastic and Billie, our driver to and from Bath, was lovely and chatty and was right on time, which was great as it was quite chilly in Bath and we were all very grateful to get back onto the warm bus. Thank you very much for recommending the Living Room, it was a brilliant venue, the music was great and the food was even better, we were all very full by the end of the meal, which was delicious. You are a fantastic company and I could not recommend you highly enough. I will certainly pass on your details to anyone who might be organising a hen party in the future. We all had a fantastic weekend at the farmhouse in Chew Magna, all of the suppliers arrived on time and were absolutely brilliant (Tosh the cocktail guy went down a storm!). The hot tub was another highlight and everyone was so impressed with everything. We loved the large dining area so we could all eat together comfortably. Thank you very much for all your help and support with organising my friend's hen do - I would be completely happy to recommend Acacia to anyone else that is looking for a fab girlie weekend away without the stress of booking everything separately themselves - you really made it all very straightforward. We all had a fantastic weekend despite the wind and rain. The location was great, the barn was perfect. It felt like home from home – we had all the necessary things to make dinner for us all on Friday evening and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The log fire was a huge hit and everyone enjoyed sitting round in the evening – the barn was always warm enough and very clean and tidy. The spa was great and the minibus arrived on time and was very flexible as he picked us up from a different location in the evening. We booked an afternoon activity ourselves at The Makery – we did bath bomb making and this was a great afternoon activity. I am not sure if you offered this as an extra activity. The evening meal was fantastic too. The chef came in, got on with it, served the meals on time and cleared up afterwards. We were all stuffed after our main course and could have done with a longer gap between dessert and we were rushed a little. Other than that, there were clean plates all round – a sign of good food! All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend the barn and Acacia cottages. Thanks for all of your support and help to make my friends hen weekend memorable.

We all had a fabulous weekend, thank you. Everything went very smoothly. Thought the accommodation was very good, comfortable, well-equipped, just perfect for a group our size. Taxis arrived promptly, and River Cottage meal was a great experience. And to top it all, the sun shone!! We walked along the coastal path at Beer, and had a pub lunch on Saturday there. All in all, a great weekend, no hitches, (except ALL our SAT NAVS took us along the dead end road nearby into a smelly cattle yard !!! - but that wasn’t your fault! We all trusted our sat nav’s and forgot to read your directions, more fool us! Thanks for good organisation. We would definitely consider using you again, and, indeed, stay in the farmhouse again.

The cottage was wonderful and thank you for all your help with the organisation. The location was beautiful although a little foggy on the Friday night. The woodburning stove was on the go and we warmed out cockles all Saturday afternoon. If anything, I think that the cottage could be better signposted. Everything else was brilliant.

The barns were absolutely beautiful and we loved the under floor heating! Not a bad word could be said about anything, the spa organisation was great, the butler, and our taxi man was very patient!! All in all a wonderful time had by all and to top it off the pub staff were very accommodating with great well priced food and lovely staff. Feedback wise, on the whole, everything was great. The hen and all of us loved the cottage - it was beautiful and Nigel was very helpful if/when we had queries! The beds and linen were really comfortable and cottage was well decorated. We really appreciated the cupcakes and things like the iPod dock and DVDs left there! Nigel is aware that some of the pans they bought for the cottage don't work on their new hob, so we only had two pans to use (which was fine but would be helpful to have more!). The therapists were lovely, as was Jon, the driver for our transfers to Bristol. All in all, a lovely weekend; we all enjoyed ourselves and the hen felt thoroughly spoilt! Many thanks again,

Everything was fantastic, the house was superb, the photos don't do it justice and everything ran really smoothly. We got there the heating was already on, the hot tub switched on:-) Everything that was planned from the butler to the activities to the meal to the taxis they all had my contact details and all turned up on time. The Bride was over the moon and the fact that we had till 4pm on the Sunday was great as people left at their own leisure, and she didn't want to leave:-) I have recommended you to a few people and if i ever get put in charge of a hen do again will definitely be coming back! Everyone said it was my great organisational skills obviously that helped with the success of the weekend, I then had to admit it was all down to you guys:-) Everyone used supplier wise was fantastic the people at the punting, the hair and make up girls etc etc. They were all so nice and welcoming. I particularly thought the taxis were good - they sent a text when they were on their way and with the registration of the vehicle so when we were waiting to be picked up you knew which one was yours which was very handy and secure for the ladies! I was very impressed with it and thought it was a fab idea! Also with the butler he called 10 minutes before he was due to arrive as he wanted to know if he was a surprise so we could draw curtains, move Victoria away from the window etc. The makeup girls were lovely and chatty and we all looked fab. And the restaurant was great everything was already for when we got there. Liked I said we did not need to ask or chase for anything! I was so impressed with how smoothly it went! Thank you very much I have a friend at work who is looking at organising a hen do so will send the voucher her way!

We all had a really good time. The cottage was lovely; plenty of space for us all; and the dinner was really good. The couple who managed the cottage were also very friendly, and looked after us well. The guy who held the cocktail lessons was excellent - even though the measures seemed quite large and didn’t help our headaches the next day! The wedding was this Saturday and we all got on the dance floor for a show of the Grease dance routines we learnt!! Thank you for helping organise it.

Tosh the cocktail maker was absolutely fantastic - lots of fun and very professional - he put a lot of energy in to the room! Just the thing that was needed after a big lunch in Tetbury - the perfect warm up to the evening - good recommendation for a hen do. We ate at the Daffodil in Cheltenham which was lovely and even saw Zara Philips there! I just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail, to say a HUGE thank you for your help to make my friend’s hen party a great success. She had a fantastic weekend, as did everyone involved. The cottage was perfect, the treatments were enjoyed by all. The team at Circo were great fun and really got involved and made the cocktail making even more fun. The food at the Cosy club was excellent and Dan who picked us up and dropped us off was superb given the giggling bus full of girls he had!!!
