...We all had a fantastic weekend in Bath - I saw Katherine on Saturday and she was telling us all how much she enjoyed every part of the weekend.

Tip: booking in advance is essential as it gets very busy. They do not accept groups larger than 12.
Starting from Bath’s beautiful Pulteney Weir you can hire your boat by the hour or day. If that all seems a little too much like effort you can get a chauffeur and simply sit back and relax!
A bit of retail therapy never hurts! Bath has a wealth of amazing shops from Jolly’s at the top of Milsom street all the way down to the newly renovated Southgate area with its designer and more ‘purse-forgiving’ brands.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the front end of a horse from the back, you will certainly have a lot of fun with a day at the races!

In the depths of the City the Christmas Market is set-up in the shadow of Bath Abbey right next to the Roman Baths. There are over 150 wooden chalets selling unique, handcrafted items ideal for the perfect Christmas gift. Simply wander round enjoying a glass of mulled wine whilst listening to the carol singers getting into the festive spirit.
By Train
The train station is near the Southgate end of the High Street. There are trains from many places around the UK. London to Bath takes approximately an hour and a half.
By Car
From Junction 18, M4. There is a fairly straightforward drive into Bath along the A46; turning right onto the A4 when nearing Bath. A great car park is Queen Charlotte. It is a short walk to the centre and you can park all day long.
For a cheaper route use one of the many park and rides.
