In the heart of the City lies the award winning Natural Spa where you can relax in the mineral rich waters. Enjoy the indoor pool or the spectacular open-air roof top pool which has panoramic views over the city.
Tip: booking in advance is essential as it gets very busy. They do not accept groups larger than 12.

Bath Punting & Boat Trips

Starting from Bath’s beautiful Pulteney Weir you can hire your boat by the hour or day. If that all seems a little too much like effort you can get a chauffeur and simply sit back and relax!

Facts about Bath

  1. The Saracens Head is one of the oldest pubs and was visited by Charles Dickens in 1835
  2. Hollywood blockbusters such as The Duchess, Les Miserables and Jane Austen’s Persuasion have been filmed through the streets.
  3. Bath was home to Jane Austen and even inspired Mary Shelley to finish writing Frankenstein.

Getting to Bath

By Train

The train station is near the Southgate end of the High Street. There are trains from many places around the UK. London to Bath takes approximately an hour and a half.

By Car

From Junction 18, M4. There is a fairly straightforward drive into Bath along the A46; turning right onto the A4 when nearing Bath. A great car park is Queen Charlotte. It is a short walk to the centre and you can park all day long.

For a cheaper route use one of the many park and rides.
